Following a studio

I never receive any messages from studio I'm following, I only got studio activity messages from studios I curate.. But in the wiki it said When you follow a studio you will get messages whenever there is new activity in the studio. How come?

Ah, this is probably something to be fixed. I'll take care of that.

Demoting Managers

It says in the article that you can demote the Managers of a studio back to a curator, however, I never see that option when I am a manager of a studio.

"Animated studio thumbnails do not make the front page lag, since they do not use a user-generated hack."

One section on this page says:

You can also change a studio's thumbnail to a .gif file, which is an animated picture. Unlike animated project thumbnails, animated studio thumbnails do not make the front page lag, since they do not use a user-generated hack.

However, I'm wondering how true this is.

First off, the front page has been updated since this section was added – the contribution was made in July 2016; the new version of the homepage was released in October (the same year).

Second, how would this cause lag due to a user-generated hack? I don't think there's a difference between an animated studio thumbnail and an animated project thumbnail. There could be lag because of there being a large amount of animated images (in general; they don't need to all be project thumbnails) being embedded on the homepage, but that's just the fault of animated images in general, not a user-generated hack.

edit: Apparently post signatures aren't automatically added.. oops!
